That’s where your habits, emotions, memories, and automatic reactions live – even the ones you might not be fully aware of. It’s working all the time, quietly running the show behind the scenes.
Sometimes, your unconscious picks up patterns that were useful at the time – maybe to keep you safe or help you cope – but now they’re no longer helpful. They might show up as anxiety, low confidence, unwanted habits, or a sense of being stuck.
Hypnotherapy works by helping you enter a calm, focused state – a bit like when you’re daydreaming or totally lost in a good film. In that relaxed state, your conscious mind steps aside just a little, so we can work directly with your unconscious mind.
That allows us to gently update old thought patterns, reinforce positive changes, and create space for the outcomes you want – like feeling calmer, sleeping better, building confidence, or letting go of an old habit.
